However, the location was great for exploring the countryside, and the bathroom had a good hot shower. The building itself was quaint and quirky, and the staff were friendly.
The rooms were not well-maintained, with cobwebs and a musty smell, and the beds were uncomfortable.

The value for money at Hall Country House Guest House was excellent, with spacious and comfortable rooms that had a charming old-fashioned appeal. The location was perfect for a peaceful and tranquil getaway, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home throughout our stay.
The breakfast option could have been more organized, with tables not cleared promptly and limited choices in the cereals and juices section. However, the food itself was delicious and the serving staff were apologetic and friendly.

The shower in our room was fantastic, providing a refreshing and invigorating experience. Despite some minor hiccups, such as limited WiFi and a small TV with limited channels, the overall atmosphere of the place was relaxing and enjoyable. The location of the hotel in the lovely setting was also a highlight. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

Beautiful country hall with great events
We had a fantastic evening at the country hall, attending a gig held within the hall itself. The atmosphere was amazing, and the well-priced and well-stocked bar added to the experience. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner and a satisfying breakfast the next morning. The grounds surrounding the hall were stunning and provided a great opportunity for cycling or walking in the Northumberland national park. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.
